The VESSI 500 Championship in partnership with Dragon Boat BC is the second largest regatta in Canada with over 3000 paddlers and an estimated 10,000 spectators. The event takes place rain or shine next to Science World in False Creek and features 18 makers and small shops.

Location: Olympic Village and False Creek, Vancouver
Parking: Parking lots are available off of Pacific Boulevard, Main Street, or in Chinatown at the Chinatown parkade.
Transit: Located across the street from Main Street – Science World Skytrain Station, 5 minutes from Stadium – Chinatown Skytrain Station, and 10 minutes from Olympic Village. If you’re taking the bus, hop on the #3 Main, #8 Fraser / Downtown, or the #19 Metrotown / Stanley Park.
Biking: Bike lockups are available outside Science World and Creekside Community Centre.
